Red Lake Exploration, Inc. (OTCBB: RLKX) is pleased to announce that its shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favour of the proposal to change the company's name to Red Metal Resources Ltd. at the company's special meeting of shareholders held on August 22, 2008. The new name more accurately reflects the company's focus on developing copper-gold properties in Chile. The company will continue to trade under the name Red Lake Exploration, Inc., with the stock symbol RLKX, until the OTC processes the name change and issues a new symbol. The company's new website will also be available when the name change is processed by the OTC and can then be found at www.redmetalresources.com.

The shareholders also voted in favour of an increase in the authorized capital from 75,000,000 shares of common stock to 500,000,000 shares of common stock. The increase in authorized capital gives management the ability to raise the funds required to achieve the company's goals of acquiring and developing advanced exploration projects.
